Lets delve a bit deeper into the stuff we can do without permission and take a look at theHarvester.

I need to be given an equivalent of Duolingo gems for returning 2 days running. Lets keep the streak going, hey?
-
So let us begin again. An end goal is in mind. I have a target, time to stay on it.

I think I need to explore RSA and Diffie-Hellman in a bit more depth than this intro offered. I also need to improve my maths and solidify my knowledge in terms of XOR and Modulo operations.
-
Those cryptography basics? They’re down. Caesar cipher, XOR operations and Modulo operations. Back on the horse after a break, including re-certification.
-
TCPDump / Nmap rooms are nailed (well, the very basic overviews, anyway). Cryptography basics next…
-
Room completed. On to the next one. Hopefully more quick progress to come…
-
Learning to use it and decipher the packets captured, finally. I wish I stuck with this years ago… What a fantastic troubleshooting tool, I can’t wait to get to grips with it more.

4 more rooms finished on THM today, specifically Network fundamentals. It’s nice to revisit the nuts and bolts, I couldn’t tell you when I last used the shell to GET web content / telnet / SMTP / POP3… I hope a lot of those things remain in the past where they belong lol.

Command Line room finished off. I learned a valuable lesson in the shell not indicating the presence of an underscore in a script filename. Networking room comes next. I really enjoy revisiting things I’m already familiar with because I get to see it again with fresh eyes and a very different perspective.
